Reach is a non-government, self-funded centre, set up in the year 2002, to provide a support system to special children under one roof. It is associated with the SNDT and the model school for students with learning disabilities, and has been registered with the Maharashtra Dyslexia Association. It aims at providing an encouraging and stimulating environment to those students who are not proficient to withstand the pressures of academics in the regular school, either, due to learning problems (caused due to learning disabilities, emotional disturbances etc.) or, to those who are slow learners.
Our Annual Sports Day was held on 2nd March. All the children participated.

On 10th Feb we went for an educational trip to the Mumbai Museum. The children were fascinated by the natural history section and the antiques. Our Annual Event ‘PERFETE’ was an immense success this year. We are very grateful to our well wishers for all the support they gave us. REACH is proud to begin the new academic year (2010-2011) with news about the NIOS results. The out-pass percentage of students is 92% with most of our students getting a first class in their papers.
