School has re-opened on the 14th of June 2010.  We have a new revised curriclum this year for all our students. Admissions are open from level 3 (8 yrs) to NIOS X and XII.

REACH also offers the following services:

1. Remediation.

2. Counselling.

3. Psychological and Educational Assessments.

4. Mass screening for Students with Learning problems.

5. Conducting workshops for schools.

 The performances were greatly appreciated and the audience cheered them with great enthusiasm. The evening was graced by special guests – Raell Padamsee and Amole Gupte.  They were especially charmed by the juniors who came on stage and had an impromptu jamming session with them.

Most of all REACH would like to thank all its generous contributors, who supported our cause through this event.

 WE are constantly trying to provide better teaching facilities and infrastructure to our students and parents. REACH presently operates from leased premise which fails to provide stability and identity to our students. Each year, we attempt to procure a permanent premise. REACH needs to raise funds to support its ongoing pursuit. 

We envision remodelling and upgrading of our existing premises to a permanent one and provide more therapy services to the special population in the near future.

Our target is to collect a minimum of Rs.15 lacs and we request Philanthropists, Corporate and Institutions to help generously for this cause.

The Musical Event “PRAVAAH” is aimed at this purpose. Donar passes are available at school. Do contact us and be a part of this wonderful evening.

This promises to be a soulful event which will showcase the contribution of lyrics, melody and orchestration in film songs spanning over 50 years.  The musical evening will showcase the stalwarts of the field. Nine Hundred guests are expected to be enthralled with our programme.

The assessments include IQ testing and Educational Assessments.

We began by conducting Educational Assessments for free for students of M.G. Road Municipal School (Marathi medium).We hope to complete at least 250 assessments by the 30^th of March 2010.

Students of REACH celebrated Dussehra in school.  REACH then celebrated Diwali with the students of Gharkul, an NGO for children with mental retardation. The children learned to share their joy of the festivals as well as to mingle with those less fortunate than them.

On the 25^th of December 2009, our students had the opportunity to enjoy their Christmas by watching a movie “Paa”. It was free of charge for the students.

It was a landmark day for us as we wished to help students learn skills that would provide them the opportunity to follow a vocation based on their interests and abilities. We offer them courses in Functional Math and English, and Home Science as part of academics.

As part of Vocational training we provide them with training in – Computers, Office Skills (Secretarial practice), Catering, and Stitching.

This year, like the previous year, our students put up their Annual Day performance as well. Apart from the usual dances, we also had them demonstrate the uses of Yoga. Each student was given the opportunity to shine….

 The students of REACH celebrated Independence Day by expressing their patriotism. They chose to dress up as and speak a few words on the leaders that inspire them. The older students expressed their opinions about the present.
