New events in 2009
In October 2009, one of our students won a prize in the Inter-school Drawing competition, through the Bhavani Child Development Trust (CDC) from Jaipur. This was the second year in succession when we won this prize.
Students of REACH celebrated Dussehra in school. REACH then celebrated Diwali with the students of Gharkul, an NGO for children with mental retardation. The children learned to share their joy of the festivals as well as to mingle with those less fortunate than them.
On the 25th of December 2009, our students had the opportunity to enjoy their Christmas by watching a movie “Paa”. It was free of charge for the students.
